Hi! I’m Lewis, a multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, self expression advocate & cultivator of transformative potential. It’s safe to say that music is a passion that has guided me through life. By studying the piano, drumming, composition, improvisation and singing, I’ve been lucky enough to connect with people who also share the passion to learn, express and expand their musical horizon. Whether it’s teaching, performing, composing or recording, I focus on bringing attention to the spirit and soul that music awakens within us.

My artist name is meliflewis and the music I produce is characterised by piano and drum driven ballads, drawing upon classical, funk and world music influences. As a composer I enjoy developing original soundtracks for film, performing live and collaborating on art projects, some of which include Pianodays, 3 Bullets (soundtrack), Rebirth (sound design) & MASSIV the latest album release of poachedego.

I also facilitate music and self expression workshops for private groups & schools. Alongside my musical experience, I incorporate conscious connection techniques to invite meaningful contact to those around us and to our own creative mind.
